Few restaurants capture the spirit of Florida’s dining ambiance quite like the Oystercatchers Restaurant. A local-inspired yet simple menu is heavily influenced by fresh, in-season ingredients. Nestled among lush landscaping, the restaurant offers some spectacular waterfront views and a calm atmosphere.
What To Order
The menu is seasonal, but you can expect to find a variety of fresh oysters year-round served on a bed of ice with cocktail sauce, red wine vinegar, and horseradish. The creamy horseradish dressing makes for a sophisticated seafood starter to share.
As for the entrée, and what really stands out, is the lobster mac and cheese. A lobster tail, claw meat, and gruyere, parmesan, and goat cheese on top of cavatappi pasta with some baby spinach and sundried tomatoes mixed in. Simply spectacular ! The melted cheese blended together make for a very smooth and creamy sauce. The wilted spinach is mixed in throughout along with tomatoes.
The coconut cheesecake a la mode garnished with an edible pineapple flower will end your meal on a high note.
