Dragonfly
201 Southeast Second Avenue, Gainesville, Florida 32601 | dragonflyrestaurants.com/gainesville-florida | (352) 371-3359
Dragonfly is a favorite among University of Florida students, alumni of all ages and Gainesville locals alike. It’s been a resounding success in the heart of the city’s downtown for more than 20 years, and for good reason.
What To Order
There really isn’t a way to go wrong when ordering from this Gainesville mainstay. Consider starting with the chef’s selection of nigiri (seven pieces) and an order from the bar’s impressive list of Japanese whisky. Order a signature roll such as The Bomb or the Black Dragon the to share. It’s worth noting that Dragonfly was serving a killer bowl of ramen well before it was a mainstream trend. The same goes for pork belly. Enjoy both in a bowl of pork belly ramen and you won’t be disappointed. If you still have room after all that, satisfy a sweet tooth by finishing with the green tea creme brulée.
Additional Tips
Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and definitely on home football game weekends.
