Tampa, Fla. (October 7, 2014) – Chris Plasencia has joined The Plasencia Group (“TPG”) as a Vice President in the company’s Tampa, Florida office. Mr. Plasencia’s primary responsibilities include conducting underwriting analyses and facilitating investment offering processes. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Plasencia practiced law for several years in the real estate group of Squire Patton Boggs. There he gained significant experience in the negotiation and execution of a wide spectrum of commercial real estate transactions across the country, including the sales and financings of a number of hotel and resort properties.
“I am very excited to begin the next chapter of my career working alongside my father, my brothers and the rest of the team at TPG,” said Chris. “I look forward to adding my experience as a practicing real estate attorney to the deep base of knowledge that already exists.”
Mr. Plasencia received his law degree from Fredric G. Levin College of Law at the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in real estate, also from the University of Florida. He received a Bachelor’s degree in history from Duke University. Mr. Plasencia also brings experience in hotel operations to the firm, having worked in the hospitality industry with Marriott International.
