On Swann’s most frequent guests rave about the kale salad, and for good reason. Depending on your appetite, you can start with this favorite or add a protein and make a meal of it. If visiting for lunch, I enjoy the spicy buttermilk chicken sandwich. For dinner, the hanger steak frites is fantastic.

Be sure to sample some of the inventive cocktails—new options rotate through the menu frequently.

Additional Tips

I recommend making a reservation whether for lunch or dinner. Hyde Park Village is lovely, especially during the holidays; plan to take a stroll through the area after your meal.
