If you find yourself in scenic downtown Greenville, South Carolina, with a hankering for some excellent southern fare, head a few blocks down Main St. from Reedy River Falls to Augusta Street at the West End, and you’ll find just what you’re looking for.
Smoke On The Water dubs itself a “saucy tavern”, and for good reason. All of their (several) specialty sauces and seasonings on offer are made in-house, from scratch, and crafted to pair perfectly with each of the restaurant’s menu creations.
What to order:
For starters, opt for the Grilled ‘Cue Shrimp and Grits, and if you’re in the mood for a bit of spice, try the Homemade Pimento Cheese. The brisket meal (large portion, of course) can’t be beaten for your main. Add a Bowl of Greens and Potato Salad to round things out. To finish things off, Jack Daniel’s Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie is a tough act to follow.
